Kaylie Sadlon Herron Partner

Kaylie Sadlon is a partner at K2 Fundraising Agency. Born and raised in the Los Angeles area, Kaylie relocated to San Diego in order to complete her BA at CSU San Marcos on a golf scholarship. While her passion for the sport remains, Kaylie found an even greater love of politics and public affairs when she joined the team at Golden State Consultants focusing on countywide races. The scope of her work there expanded into the Orange County region allowing her to build strong relationships with the donor community throughout southern California. In addition to candidate campaigns, Kaylie has extensive experience working with nonprofits and membership-based organizations throughout, such as the California Women's Leadership Association, an organization dedicated to electing pro-business women to public office. She currently serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the Lincoln Club of San Diego County.

Kaila Weedman Partner

Kaila Weedman is a partner at K2 Fundraising Agency. Following seven years of experience with Golden State Consultants developing and managing fundraising campaigns for dozens of bi-partisan candidates, political organizations, and nonprofits, Kaila returned to her alma mater, the Academy of Our Lady of Peace, as the Associate Director of Advancement. In this role she has continued to develop strong relationships with professionals within the educational sphere and industry leaders throughout San Diego County. Simultaneously, Kaila has served as the Membership Director for the Lincoln Club of San Diego County, a pro-business regional PAC growing membership to a record high in the organizations 30+ years. Her robust and diverse experience gives her a unique perspective on crafting custom fundraising plans for clients. A fourth generation San Diegan, Kaila received her BA in History and Communication Studies from the University of San Diego and resides in North Park.

Morgan Hickman Partner

Morgan Hickman is a partner at K2 Fundraising Agency. Hailing from the Central Valley of California, Morgan brings with her a statewide network. Following her graduation from San Diego State University, Morgan joined San Diego-based political and non-profit fundraising firm, Golden State Consultants, where she earned her stripes developing and supporting comprehensive strategic finance plans for a multitude of candidates and organizations across California. In addition to her fundraising expertise, Morgan brings a creative eye to every project ensuring that clients receive products and services that are customized to their unique needs and are reflective of their professional brand. Her work at the Irvine Company has also allowed her to glean extensive experience in the real estate industry. She is investing in her passion for the industry by currently working to obtain her real estate license.

Nicole Vartanian Account Manager

Nicole Vartanian is an Account Manager at K2 Fundraising Agency. Originally from the Santa Clarita Valley, Nicole brings over ten years of community relations and government affairs experience to the K2 team. She spent the first nine years of her career successfully championing the needs of her hometown community working as a Field Representative in the district offices of her local and federal elected officials, including LA County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, Congressman Steve Knight, LA County Supervisor Mike Antonovich, and Congressman Buck McKeon. During that time, she also supported candidate campaigns in both Los Angeles and Orange counties. In 2017, Nicole was honored to be named to the Santa Clarita Valley 40 Under Forty by the Junior Chamber International (Santa Clarita) for her leadership and service to her community. Since moving to San Diego in 2020, Nicole has leveraged her skills and experience to support fundraising efforts for a variety of nonprofits and political campaigns, including the successful flips of local, state, and federal seats all over Southern California. While passionate about politics, she also finds great joy in serving nonprofits as well as youth and young professional development organizations. Nicole received her BA in Political Science at UC Irvine and is currently working on her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through Cornell University.
